Environment Consciousness - Awareness Campaigns
“It is only by making the younger generation aware of the impending dangers if a restoration action is not sparked now that we can fully involve all young ones in the battle against nature destruction” Otuo-Akyampong Boakye – President Eco Warriors Movement. We create awareness of environmental issues, advocate for friendly environmental policies and create Eco clubs in school to further educate the youth.
Climate Action – Smart Tree planting
Climate change has wide-ranging effects on the environment, and on socio-economic and related sectors, including water resources, agriculture and food security, human health, terrestrial ecosystems and biodiversity. In recent years, the act of tree planting is projected as key intervention for managing global carbon to mitigate climate change. At Eco Warriors we explore the science of tree planting to address other important environmental concerns like air pollution and biodiversity loss. We don’t just plant trees, we grow trees
Sanitation
programs
Nature provides recreation, refreshment and aesthetics. This are ecological services provided for both humanity and animals however human activities like poor sanitation practices render the environment incapable of performing such ecological services. Our sanitation projects are premised on the 3Rs of waste management – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Our tyrebin projects ensures the reuse of car tyres as waste bins in schools to collect waste
